Personal Banker
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to join our team. Our Personal Banker role does everything from helping a customer make a simple transaction to opening new accounts and everything in between. Essential Functions:
1. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by accurately and courteously addressing customer questions and processing customer requests.
2. Responsible for processing night drop items each morning.
3. Personal Bankers are first in line to answer incoming telephone calls; determines the purpose of calls; answers customer inquiries or appropriately forwards calls. Refers complicated questions, matters, and upset customers to appropriate person.
4. Personal Bankers are first in line to accept all deposits, verifies cash, and endorsements. Follows proper procedures for cashing checks including receiving proper authorization to cash checks from loan officer if necessary.
5. Provides additional customer service including; Cashier’s Checks, Money Orders, Stop Payments, customer research, and assist customers with any questions or concerns.
6. Interviews customers to obtain information and explains available financial services such as savings and checking accounts, Certificates of Deposit, ATM and Visa debit cards.
7. Processes opening of new accounts and provides proper documentation and disclosures, including checking, savings, Certificates of Deposit, etc.
8. Maintains accounts, including making address changes; closes accounts as requested by customers.
9. Generates monthly reports as requested; responsible for sending letters to customers regarding accounts.
10. Responsible to scan in daily work and check daily work.
11. Assists customers with Business Online Banking, Mobile Banking and Online Banking.
12. Resets passwords for Internet banking customers if applicable.
13. Assists with ordering debit cards and ATM cards.
14. Researches customer account issues.
15. Balances cash daily for the ATM, teller drawer and vault.
16. Responsible for adding money to the ATM.
17. Promotes the bank’s products and services; consistently cross-sells banks products at every opportunity.
18. Performs as a team member in allocating and coordinating branch workflow; assists co-workers with questions as needed.
19. Assists with processing Accounts Payable.
Full-time hours will be 40 hours per week Monday – Friday. Minimum High School diploma or GED required. Bank Of The Plains is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
