Loan Operations Supervisor – Salina, KS

The Loan Operations Supervisor oversees the Loan Operations Specialist and is responsible, along with the Director of Loan Operations, for coaching and training the Loan Operations staff on policy, procedure, and practices of the Loan Operations Department.  Assist in all aspects of the Loan Operations department; included but not limited to, Loan Servicing,Document Preparation for Consumer and Commercial loans for all Bank locations.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Supervisor Role:

1.    The Loan Operations Supervisor is encouraged to share opportunities for efficiency, improved processes, department structure recommendations, and ideas on workflow changes to best utilize the department’s skillset and create a smooth, efficient, organized process throughout all aspects of the Loan Operation Department.

2.   Leads by example, the culture of the Board of Directors in areas of work ethic, customer service, professionalism, community involvement and the highest regard for the bank’s reputation.

3.   Works with the SVP/Director of Loan Operations to set department goals and to create an environment where the department staff is working cohesively as a team.

4.   Performs as a team member in allocating and coordinating branch workflow; assist co-workers with questions as needed.

5.    Responsible to have a working knowledge of loan documentation preparation through the loan origination system, loan servicing through the bank accounting systems and continue to gain regulatory knowledge.

6.    Responsible to assist in effectively supervising and developing personnel that support loan processing and servicing functions to ensure duties are completed according to established policies andprocedures.

7.    Responsible to provide coaching andassist in the development of the loan operations team.

8.    Works with the SVP/Director of Operations an annual review’s for the Loan Operations Specialists outlining strengths and/or areas to improve, setting performance goals, and training suggestions. The Director of Human Resource Management will review the management and self-evaluations with the Human Resources Committee.  

9.    Will be involved in the interview process for new Loan Operations Specialists and selection of new department members.

10. Assist with the management of the daily Loan Operations pipelines.  This includes but is not limited to the nCino Loans in Doc Prep Pipeline; Loan Servicing Pipeline; Service Management Pipeline; Adverse Action and Collateral Release Pipeline.

11. Responsible to assist with maintainingservice level agreements that will ensure that Loan Operations meet the needs of Credit Administration.

12. Assists with the training of co-workersas requested. This would also include assisting with the onboarding/training for new team members.

13. Responsible for managing daily procedures, policies and practices of the department and make recommendationsas needed to comply with regulatory requirements and improve processes.

14. Responsible for daily scanning to the imaging systems (nCino & Synergy) for all documentation related to jobduties in need of retention and other scanning projects as assigned.

15. The supervisor will also perform loan and account maintenance on the bank’s core accounting systems.

16. Provide coverage for other Loan Operations positions/functions, as needed, or requested.

17. Responsible to assist with implementation of new software and procedures.

18. Responsible to assist with projects asassigned by Director of Loan operations.

19. Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by accurately and courteously addressing customer questions and processing customer requests.

20. Understand the Bank’s mission, culture,organizational structure, employee hand book, bank security, policies andprocedures and standards of conduct.

 

Loan Servicing:

1.    Responsible to assist with Booking (onboardto Silverlake) of all new and renewed loans, including all extensions and modifications for all loan types.

2.    Responsible to assist with Processing Escrow Analysis and Disbursements as needed.

3.    Responsible to assist with processing ofall ACH Returns, ACH-AFT setup, and maintenance.

4.    Responsible to assist with work all daily/monthly/quarterly/annual reports as assigned.

5.    Responsible to assist with balancing all bought and sold Participation Loans as needed.

6.    Responsible to assist with all Loan Maintenance or verification of maintenance for all loan types.

7.    Responsible to assist with quoting loan payoffs for all loan types.

8.    Responsible to assist with the processingall loan payments and advances for all loan types. This is to include advances for Mortgage Construction Draw Requests and Participation payments and advances.

9.    Responsible to assist with updates to all Daily Rate Changes and maintaining the rate tables in the Silverlake system.

10. Responsible to assist with printing andmailing daily Notices, such as Past Due, Financial Statement Due, Insurance Notices.
